Textbooks have come a long way since we were students. There are now multiple ways to assign the content. Go directly to the Pearson Website if you’d like. Your Pearson rep can also be very helpful in navigating the options and helping you get set up.
Here is a summary of the options that we hope will help!
With MyLab Finance (highly recommended)
- Both in terms of value and the student learning experience, the best option is to purchase the textbook with MyLab Finance. Even if you do not plan to use MyLab in your classroom, your students can benefit from the online practice exercises, tools, videos, spreadsheets, and other pedagogical enhancements.
- Includes:
- Interactive ebook
- Practice problems, tools, and videos
- Integrated homework system and Excel grader
- Purchase options:
- MyLab Finance with eBook can be purchased by your students for immediate access on the Pearson website for $109.99 (be sure to select the MyLab option).
- Students can purchase a convenient loose-leaf print version within MyLab Finance as an in-app upgrade for $39.99.
- Your bookstore may order the corresponding access cards:
- MyLab Finance + ebook (ISBN-13): 9780138081799

- Instructor requirements (important):
- For students to purchase MyLab Finance, the instructor must create a course within MyLab and provide students with the course id. This process is quick and easy; see instructions here.
- Alternatively, MyLab Finance can be integrated within your campus LMS, such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, or Brightspace. See information here and contact your Pearson rep for further assistance.
- For students interested in also obtaining a traditional hardback copy of the textbook, see standalone options below.
Standalone (textbook only — no MyLab access)
- The following options are for the textbook only, without links to MyLab Finance, practice problems and tools, or online homework.
- Hardback Format
- The hardback book is only available through a rent-to-own option from the Pearson website for $74.99.
- The standard rental is for one semester. Students may keep the book permanently for an additional $80. (Thus, you can buy and own the book for a total price of $155, roughly half the price of the 4th edition.)
- Bookstore instructions
- College bookstores may contact their Pearson distributor to stock the rental version (ISBN-13): 9780137845026
- If your university purchases textbooks on behalf of students, you may arrange a direct purchase from your Pearson rep.
- The hardback book is only available through a rent-to-own option from the Pearson website for $74.99.
- Loose-leaf Format
- A convenient loose-leaf format is also available, which allows easy offline use of individual chapters or sections.
