There are two places you can find instructor resources for the textbook, the publisher’s website and MyLab Finance. Here is a quick guide to each:
Pearson Higher Education
To access the instructor resources via Pearson Higher Education, go first to the textbook homepage within pearson.com: Corporate Finance, 6th Edition
From the main page, select the tab for “Resources” where you will find the following:
- PowerPoint Resources These files contain key equations, figures and examples from the text, and can be modified for your course.
- Solutions Manual The solutions manual provides brief solutions to all end of chapter problems. You can find more complete solutions online through MyLab Finance.
- Instructors Manual The instructors’ manual includes brief chapter summaries and learning objectives.
- Test Bank The test bank provides examples of brief quiz or homework problems.
To download any of these resources, you will need to login using your Pearson Higher Ed login (note: this may differ from your MyLab or MyPearson login). If you don’t have a login, you can request it online or ask your Pearson representative.
MyLab Finance
To access the instructor resources available in MyLab Finance, you must create an account in MyLab and a course within it that uses the Corporate Finance 5e text. (If you have not yet done so, see Setting Up MyFinanceLab.) If you give your students access to your course, they will also have access to these resources within MyLab Finance.
If you have already created a course, first login to MyLab Finance here. Once you sign in, select and then open any course that you have created using the Corporate Finance 5e textbook (click on the name of the course).
From the left hand menu, select Multimedia Library. On the search page, check “Select All” and then click “Find Now.” You will then find a list of the following resources by chapter:
- Animations
A collection of tools and simulations that help to illustrate key concepts. Examples include the Annuity Calculator, Bond Calculator, IRR Animation, and the Two Stock Portfolio tool.
- Case Studies
All of the data cases are available here.
- Financial Calculator
Video tutorials for using a financial calculator.
- Study Guide
Chapter by chapter summaries of key concepts.
- Videos
Video solutions to selected chapter problems and examples.
